"...as fun and frothy as a triple latte with extra foam."
"Lovers of musical theatre - particularly the Gilbert and Sullivan style of comic operetta - will get a kick out of this frothy little musical."
-Winnipeg Free Press
Opening night was Fabulous! This is a sexy, sultry, musical comedy that's primarily filled with classical music. A delightfully creative twist is added by injecting the song, "Taylor the Latte boy". The quality of the singing is excellent and unparalleled by other fringe show. Very appropriate for all ages. A must see this year! –BR
After reading the impressive bios of the cast and crew, I knew I was in for a musical treat. What I didn't realise was how FUNNY it would be. This cast of professionals puts the "comic" in "comic opera", while effortlessly tossing off high notes. A must-see! -CF
Starbachs is vocally stunning! All three performers hold their own and the trio blend really well together. Very well rehearsed, and a spot-on opening night performance. The show is an updated version of Bach's coffee cantata with some updated lyrics and book-ended by a few more modern pieces. The combination works really well together… I highly recommend this show for anyone who is into the current musical craze at the fringe festival. Brilliantly done. –CWP
